Overview
A recent organizational restructure involving both a divestiture and a merger of operations presented our client with a significant challenge in modifying both their business processes and underlying systems to support the new company. The focus was not only on ensuring that the Business-As-Usual (BAU) activities were sustained, but also to create new capabilities that would allow our client to better service their customer base and distribution channels.

SSi provided a team of functional and technical SAP experts to serve as an extension of the client’s onsite project team providing both business advisory and SAP configuration services in the area of supply chain planning and management. Emphasis was placed on defining common, reusable solution components (process, configuration and roles) to drive operating efficiencies and scalability. These solution components were deployed to geographically dispersed sites including China which helped to integrate global supply chain processes and enable enterprise visibility across supply chain networks.
